The Kinks album "Arthur (Or The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire)" celebrates its 50th birthday in 2019. It was originally released on 10 October 1969 and is the seventh album of the British rock icons.

To mark this anniversary, there are now three Reissues: a double CD, a double LP and the 50th Anniversary Box Set with four CDs, four 7" singles, a book and other extras.

The first two CDs of the box contain the album as newly remastered mono and stereo versions (both with seven bonus tracks). CD 3 features music from a lost Dave Davies solo album. The fourth disc offers a collection of demos, recordings of rehearsals and remixes. In total there are 81 tracks - five previously unreleased songs and 28 previously unreleased versions.

The four 7" singles contain the songs "Drivin", "Victoria", "Shangri-La" and "Hold My Hand" (Dave Davies solo).

The 50th Anniversary Box Set by "Arthur" is rounded off by a 68-page book with essays and new interviews with Ray Davies, Dave Davies and Mick Avory. The box also contains reproduced photos and posters and a badge.

Arthur" is also available as a double CD with the remastered stereo version of the album and Dave Davies' solo album

The double LP combines the stereo version on the first LP with a selection of rarities on the second.
