On June 17, 2022, 50 years and one day after the original UK release date, "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars" has been released as a limited edition 50th Anniversary Half-Speed Mastered LP and as a picture disc with the same master and a replica of the promotional poster for the album.
This re-pressing of "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars" was cut from the restored 192kHz masters of the original Trident Studios master tapes on a custom Neumann VMS80 cutting machine with fully reworked electronics, with no additional processing on transfer. The Halfspeed was edited by John Webber at AIR Studios
