"Laid Back" is the first studio solo album by singer-songwriter Gregg Allman, released in October 1973 on Capricorn Records. Allman, known as the singer, songwriter and pianist of the Allman Brothers Band, initially began to think about a solo career after internal disagreements in the band. He wrote the album as a creative outlet and produced it with Johnny Sandlin
Upon its release, "Laid Back" received positive reviews from music critics and reached #13 on Billboard's Top LPs & Tapes chart. Two singles were released to promote the record, with the lead single "Midnight Rider" becoming a Top 20 hit in the US and Canada. It went gold in the U.S. in 1974, making it one of Allman's best-selling albums
Gregg Allman - Laid Back is released as a 2CD Deluxe with 18 bonus tracks including previously unreleased demo versions, outtakes and alternate mixes.
