As part of the 50th anniversary campaign, a more special edition of The Dark Side Of The Moon is coming! The limited collector's edition is released on a double LP, in the form of a UV Vinyl Picture Disc. American edition! Publication: 2024-04-05

This is the first time that Pink Floyd has used this pioneering UV printing process on a Picture Disc, resulting in perfect sound and great visuals.

The disadvantage of Pictore Discs is that since both the audio and the image are pressed onto the disc, background noise can be heard during playback (due to the image being pressed onto the disc). In the new edition of The Dark Side Of The Moon, this was avoided by placing only the music on sides A and C, and the visuals on sides B and D. In addition, the image is applied using a new process, printed with a high-end UV printer, using UV light to dry the ink on the non-music pages.

This process combines the two best features: perfect sound and a beautiful picture to enjoy!
