To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this classic album, Chrysalis Records presents the most comprehensive edition of the album to date, featuring the original album remastered using the AIR mastering process, a newly discovered extended stereo mix of the entire album, a disc of outtakes, rarities and BBC sessions, most of which were previously unreleased, and a remixed Los Angeles concert recording from the For Earth Below tour, never before available in its entirety.
The centerpiece of the package is a booklet with newly written liner notes by renowned journalist David Sinclair and interviews with Robin Trower and Bill Lordan.

After the great success of their second album Bridge of Sighs, the group around Robin Trower returned to the studio to record the follow-up. Their new drummer Bill Lordan, who had previously played with Sly Stone, brought a much stronger R&B touch to the recordings.
With producer Matthew Fisher at the helm, the decision was made to record the album in the USA. This time, Robin Trower made a conscious decision to take the band in a slightly different direction rather than trying to replicate the previous release. The resulting album was certified gold and remains one of the most popular releases for true Trower devotees.
