Attention Rory Gallagher fans: Universal is releasing all of the Irish blues-rock musician, songwriter and Taste founder's solo albums as remastered versions in 2018, on CD and as 180g LPs.

Included are studio and live albums as well as posthumous releases.

This also includes the album "Calling Card". Gallagher's sixth solo studio album was originally released on October 24, 1976 and reached number 32 in the UK album charts.

In addition to Rory Gallagher, the album also features Gerry McAvoy (bass, vocals), Lou Martin (keyboards, guitar) and Rod de'Ath (drums, percussion).

For Record Store Day 2026, there will be a limited edition of the half-speed master of Rory Gallagher's album "Calling Card", which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Originally released in 1976, Rory's sixth studio album is one of his most famous and diverse albums. It was remastered by Frank Arkwright and the half-speed master was cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
