The British-American rock legends Whitesnake released on 25 March a brand new studio album entitled "Forever More". The album is the eleventh in the career of the multi-platinum group.
Whitesnake still belong to the most successful rock groups of all time. Since the release of their self-titled album in 1987, which grossed alone several platinum awards, and the two number-one hit singles "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love", the group is no longer an integral part of the rock and radio landscape. Whitesnake are an institution in the international music world and one of the few "old warhorse" that bring to today kredible albums. Through his eloquent, always cultivated, British-polite way of frontman David Coverdale is known as the rock idol, but idolized as a gentleman in the rock business. Few other musicians engaged in his texts so charming with the themes of love and passion as he did. Hardly any other highlighted his lyrics in such a winsome with thrilling blues and soul-bonds. Before Coverdale, who comes from the Middle English Saltburn-By-Sea, Whitesnake brought to life in 1977, he earned his first laurels as a singer of Deep Purple. When they dissolve in 1976, he begins to write his own pieces and founds Whitesnake. The debut album is still by Roger Glover (Deep Purple also) produced. Collaboration with highly doped musicians is the rock gentleman today. To the current array of Whitesnake count next to his longtime songwriting partner and guitarist Doug Aldrich and guitarist Reb Beach (Winger, Alice Cooper), drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Foreigner) and bassist Michael Devin (Lynch Mob). Already in February is a first single from "Forever More" appear with "Love Will Set You Free". It will continue the tradition of the great rock love songs from the house Whitesnake and is located somewhere between "Fool For Your Loving" and "The Time Is Right For Love". In keeping with the coming of spring, it is the appropriate anthem for all rock ballads fans.
