This is the third part in the "Nan True's Hole Tapes" series. All tracks were recorded in the 70 years live in England and come from the archives of Beefheart Live Tapes, which was originally owned by John Peel. This part is more mysterious than the other parts, as John Peel had collected all the tracks on a tape roll, but did not specify on which tracks play which members of the Magic Band. In addition, all data is missing except the words "1970" and the comment that this was the avant-garde versions of Captain Beefheart's live tracks. Peel also noted that "the recording quality is not always brilliant, but outweighs the quality of excellent live performances." Chic CD booklet with rare collages and images of Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band members.
