1976 Terry Evans worked for the first time along with Ry Cooder. He played on several of his albums, toured with him through the U.S., Europe and Japan. Cooder inspired him about the cooperation they became friends. In 1995 he was present when Evans his second own album for the label Audioquest, Puttin 'It Down recorded. The blues label AudioQuest Music was founded in the late 1980s and continues today under the name Sledgehammer Blues at Valley Entertainment.
